The WDIZ 20 Outstanding Women Award is an annual award program that recognizes and honors 20 exceptional women who have made significant contributions to their communities and have a had a positive impact on the lives of others. The program is organized by WZID, a radio station in Manchester, New Hampshire and has been running since 2007.
Each year, nominations are solicited from the public, and a panel of judges reviews the submissions and selects 20 women who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, service and dedication in various fields such as business, education, health care, non-profit, and public service. The winners are announced and celebrated at a gala even, where they are presented with their awards.
The WZID 20 Outstanding women Award program aims to recognize and promote women’s achievements and inspire future generations of women leaders. It also provides an opportunity to raise awareness of the contributions women make to their communities and society as a whole.
